Witch Nose and Chin Sets
Painting & Adhesive Options
Painting: Since these masks are sold unpainted, you can paint them using grease paints, acrylics, Pax paints, or water-based colors.
Adhesive: Use adhesives like Spirit Gum, Aqua FX (budget-friendly), or Pros-Aide (for long-wear). Pros-Aide and its cream form also help blend edges and can be mixed with acrylic to create Pax paint.
How to Apply Latex
- Position the prosthetic and trim it to fit if necessary.
- Apply adhesive on both the prosthetic and your skin.
- Add cotton wool to bulk up any hollow areas if needed.
- Press the prosthetic into place once the adhesive is tacky.
- Use more adhesive or latex around the edges to blend.
- Powder the prosthetic to remove shine.
- Paint to match your skin tone or create fantasy designs as desired.
Post-Purchase Care (Latex)
- Remove the mask with an oil-based remover and clean it with a makeup cleanser.
- For tougher stains, use white spirit or IPA.
- Always test adhesives and paints on a small area to check for allergies
