Kelly offers a variety of accredited course options at KO Studio (LE13BW) and plans to expand the selection to meet the growing needs of aspiring makeup artists. As a Level 3 AET-certified instructor, Kelly has dedicated years to perfecting these courses, manuals, and lesson plans to help you achieve your makeup artistry dreams. Course Structure:
In this course, you’ll progress with one lesson per week over four weeks. Alternatively, you can fast-track your learning by selecting flexible options such as consecutive days or an intensive two-day format. You’ll choose one of the following themes for each lesson:
- Natural
- Vintage
- Bridal
- Glam
These sessions cover the most common client requests, such as bridal and special occasion makeup. You are welcome to bring a companion, whom we will demonstrate the makeup looks on, and you will then replicate the looks.

Other Course Recommendations:
To build a diverse skill set, we recommend bringing a different model each week to experience working with various ages, ethnicities, and skin types. If you’re unable to provide a model, one will be provided for you.
Additional Information:
Although it’s advisable to bring your own makeup kit and brushes for learning purposes, it is not mandatory. KO Studio is fully equipped with everything you need. The course also covers contraindications, hygiene, and safety in the workplace.
The course will be personalized to meet your specific learning needs, whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills.

With 15 years of experience, Kelly Odell is an award-winning makeup artist and Level 3 AET-certified instructor. Specializing in bridal, special occasion, special effects, and festival makeup, Kelly works from her creative KO Studio, offering lessons and crafting custom prosthetics for TV, film, and fancy dress parties. Her work has been featured on ITV, Sky Atlantic, and “RuPaul’s Drag Race. For the past 6 years, Kelly has been a dedicated mentor, teaching students at Leicester College, helping them hone their skills in the makeup industry. Kelly’s expertise will guide you at every step of your makeup journey.
