- Foam Latex: This is a more advanced option. It is lighter and more durable than rubber latex. Foam latex offers a better fit and holds its shape longer, making it more comfortable for long wear.
Breathing Holes: The prosthetic includes breathing holes in the nostrils, which you can adjust with scissors if necessary.

Painting & Adhesive Options
- Painting: The mask is unpainted. You can use grease paints, acrylics, Pax paints, or water-based colors to paint it.
- Adhesive: I recommend Spirit Gum, Aqua FX (budget-friendly), or Pros-Aide (long-wear). Pros-Aide cream can also help blend the edges and mix with acrylics to create Pax paint.
How to Apply Latex
- Position the prosthetic and trim to fit if needed.
- Apply adhesive to both the prosthetic and your skin.
- Add cotton wool to fill any hollow areas if required.
- Press the prosthetic into place once the adhesive is tacky.
- Blend the edges with more adhesive or latex.
- Powder the prosthetic to remove any shine.
- Paint the prosthetic to match your skin tone or create your own fantasy design.
Post-Purchase Care (Latex)
- Remove the prosthetic with an oil-based remover and clean with makeup cleanser.
- For tough stains, use white spirit or IPA.
- Always test adhesives and paints on a small area to check for allergies.
