Elf Fairy Tribal Scars – Latex Scarification Marks

This sale is for a set of Elf Fairy Tribal Scars, made from high-quality latex. These scars are ideal for creating a striking look for a variety of characters.

The scars come pre-cut, like shown in the picture, but you can cut closer to the edges if you prefer a seamless blend. For reference, I used silicone in the images.

I can also make these scars in Prosaide transfer or silicone, though these options come at a higher cost.

Materials

These Elf Fairy Tribal Scars are primarily made from liquid latex, which is durable, strong, and reusable. However, I also offer alternative materials like Prosaide transfer, gelatin, foam, or silicone, depending on the style and your preference. Please note that options like Prosaide transfer and silicone may incur an additional cost.

These scars are reusable and versatile, making them perfect for cosplay, festivals, or fantasy costumes. They work great alongside other fantasy elements like fairy ears, noses or a third eye, which I also offer.

Painting & Adhesive Options

• Painting: Since these prosthetics are sold unpainted, you can paint them using grease paints, acrylics, Pax paints, or water-based colors.

• Adhesive: Use adhesives like Spirit Gum, Aqua FX (budget-friendly), or Pros-Aide (for long-wear). Pros-Aide and its cream form also help blend edges and can be mixed with acrylic to create Pax paint.

How to Apply Latex

1. Position the prosthetic and trim it to fit if necessary.

2. Apply adhesive on both the prosthetic and your skin.

3. Add cotton wool to bulk up any hollow areas if needed.

4. Press the prosthetic into place once the adhesive is tacky.

5. Use more adhesive or latex around the edges to blend.

6. Powder the prosthetic to remove shine.

7. Paint to match your skin tone or create fantasy designs as desired.

Post-Purchase Care (Latex)

• Remove the mask with an oil-based remover and clean it with a makeup cleanser.

• For tougher stains, use white spirit or IPA.

• Always test adhesives and paints on a small area to check for allergies.
