A bit about: Kelly Odell AKA as ‘Kollective by Kelly Odell’ now based at KO studio.

Kelly Odell has 14 years of experience within the makeup industry. This website is not only to showcase off her work, but also has her online shop, where she makes and sells fancy dress items for sale just check them out in the options above. Kelly can travel freelance to bookings, she is mostly based at her very funky and creative studio the ‘KO STUDIO‘. Where brides can come for their bridal trials, plus people can come for their special occasion makeovers, advanced facials, makeup lessons, or special effect makeover and costume needs.

Kelly specialises and offers a “collective” of bespoke services such as bridal make up and hair, special occasion make up and hair plus all occasions such as proms, birthdays, hen parties, fancy dress and more.

She also prides herself on keeping up with trends and contemporary styles or being trained in the classics, as kelly knows that, ‘what suits one, doesn’t suit another’.  She loves to create designs that are unique for the individual, and to work with her clients preferences, so whether your requested design is classic, alternative or an outrageous look, kelly will try her best to ensure you’re happy.

More so Kelly can get very creative, and can do festival makeup, Special effects, face-painting and body art! At KO studio we  also create custom made prosthetics, perfect for fancy dress parties or TV and film. One of her ‘GRETA GREMLIN’ inspired face prosthetics was worn by a drag queen on Amsterdam’s ‘RU PAUL’ drag race. And one of her latex noses was worn by a football celebrity on ‘CELEBRITY JUICE’.

Kelly has done some work on ITV, SKY ATLANTIC, and assisted for the BBC. As well as working on many other special events such as the ALEXANDER MCQUEEN exhibit in London. She also assisted a team and created body paint for the Paul O’Grady show as well as some face and body painting for Jonathan Ross’s Halloween party.

Kelly is so passionate about her career it made her an AWARD-WINNING makeup artist, awarded by Illamasqua in which she won 5 thousand pounds worth of prizes due to a creative makeup she applied and presented by  a judging panel. Since then, Kelly has also won a variety of smaller competitions with some great prizes and recognition. 

She can work from her own studio LE13BW or travel to any location. Kelly has had experience internationally such as many places in the UK, PORTUGAL, IBIZA, FRANCE, and IRELAND.
